- To bring added value to the cover of your next book...
- To offer you a gift to decorate your office, your living room, your workshop... or that of a loved one!
An original illustration is a unique and exclusive object, it’s up to you to enjoy it!
Most of the illustrations visible here or on the "Galleries" page are available in a limited edition. Each copy is printed on a Fine Art paper with inks of the best quality, numbered, signed by Luc De Clerfayt. Different finishes are available (anti-UV plexiglass, resin, wooden or aluminum frame, etc...).
A unique way to honor a friendship, to thank a partner, a collaborator... or simply to have fun.
Gouache on Arche watercolor paper (Overview and details)
The gouache allows a very detailed and very colorful work. All dimensions are possible up to A2 format (42x60cm), ideal for making posters.
In this case, the layout will be thoughtful and designed to allow the integration of typographic information elements and partner logos.
Any other destination (book cover, posters, gift, etc...) is obviously possible with a gouache creation.
Acrylic on wood or Arche watercolor paper (Overview and details)
Here is a very different approach from the previous ones. The goal here is to evoke speed and action by playing with colors and light without bothering with the material details of reality.
All in sensation, this favorite technique is suitable for making posters, invitations... or simply to please (yourself).
The wooden support allows a very wide range of formats ranging from A4 (21/29.7cm) to A0 (120/84cm).
Wash on Arche watercolor paper (Overview and details)
Wash is a technique where the author only uses black ink and water on watercolor paper. This way of proceeding allows for a particular sensitivity and brings a unique charm to the illustration but does not allow very large formats. The ideal is not to exceed the A3 format (42x29,7cm).
Besides the illustration to enhance his private collection, this more intimate technique is more intended for printing invitations, calendars, postcards, greeting cards, etc...
Probably less exclusive than illustration, infographics are a very effective tool to communicate without limits about your events with easy adaptation for all formats and all media. All the examples presented here use visuals entirely created on a computer.
A reality that is not really.
In order to satisfy you in case of a specific order, it is possible to start the work with some sketches offering different layouts. This allows to set up the different important elements in the composition of a poster and to be in agreement before starting the final illustration.
You can also consider requesting a project in color (made with markers). This implies an additional cost. The maximum format is A3 (42cm/29.7cm).
